Management Trainee (Retail Business)

About the role

This is a hands-on role based at our Boon Lay Place retail outlet. The successful candidate will gain practical experience in retail sales, customer service, store operations, sales analysis, marketing, and overall business management. You will work closely with management to understand the business, monitor performance, and support initiatives to improve sales and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and understand the Company's products, retail operations, and sales process.
• Attend to customers and develop practical sales and customer service skills.
• Monitor and analyse sales and product performance.
• Assist in sales reporting, inventory planning, and product forecasting.
• Support the planning and execution of promotions, product bundles, and marketing activities.
• Monitor customer buying behaviour, market trends, and competitors.
• Support online sales channels and e-commerce platforms.
• Assist management in identifying opportunities for business improvement and growth.
• Perform other business-related duties and projects as assigned.

About you

• Minimum GCE O-Level or equivalent qualification.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply.
• Strong interest in retail, sales, and business management.
• Willing to learn and participate in hands-on retail sales and store operations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Able to work 6 days per week, including Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays.
• Must be comfortable working in a retail environment.
