Management Trainee - Strategy & Operations

About the role

The Management Trainee will work closely with management and different departments to support strategic initiatives, analyse operational data, identify areas for improvement, and assist in implementing solutions that contribute to organisational growth and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist management in developing, coordinating, and implementing strategic initiatives and organisational projects
• Conduct research and analysis to support management decision-making
• Identify business and operational trends, opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement
• Prepare recommendations and action plans based on data and business requirements
• Monitor the progress and effectiveness of strategic initiatives and provide regular updates to management
• Collect, organise, analyse, and interpret operational and business data
• Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and management summaries
• Review existing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness
• Assist in developing and implementing process improvement initiatives
• Work closely with various departments, management, and employees to support organisational initiatives

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of working experience
• Strong data analytical skills with ability to analyse data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a strong sense of ownership
