Management Trainee (Supply Chain / Logistics)

RESPONSIBILITIES - Management Trainee (Supply Chain)

• Responsible for import shipment arrangement, and export shipment as when needed.
• In charge of the shipping process including creates purchase order, liaise, monitor, follow up and expedite delivery with supplier.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, hauliers, and logistics service providers to arrange shipments and ensure smooth delivery operations.
• Build and develop relationships with service provider.
• Work closely with other departments including Sales/Marketing, Sales Support, Finance department etc.
• Maintain good recording for incoming shipment list and update progress report for shipment transactions.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Superior & Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES - Management Trainee (Logistics)

• Liaise with customers from order processing (purchase order) to local delivery arrangement.
• Invoice & bill issuance upon confirmation of completed delivery.
• Monitor daily deliveries and handle logistic issues as and when required.
• Work closely with internal and outsource transporter for logistic arrangement.
• Monitor & manage stock availability closely to prevent insufficient stock.
• Ensure all customer Purchase Orders (POs) and delivery documents are properly documented and accurately filed.
• Provide operational and administrative support to the sales team to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
• Work closely with other departments to solve daily work-related issues, if any.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Superior & Management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / International Shipping or any related field.
• At least 1 year of working experience in the shipping / logistics line is an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply for this entry-level position. Training will be provided!
• Good understanding and knowledge on shipping documents, shipping terms & marine insurance will be an added advantage.
• Experience in handling K2 custom forms for delivery processes will be an added advantage.
• Required skill(s): MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented, analytical and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is required.
• Must be willing to be based in Ara Damansara office.
