Management Trainee – Supply Chain / Production

Job Purpose

The Management Trainee – Supply Chain / Production is designed to develop high-potential talent into future leaders within GQ’s supply chain and production functions. The trainee will gain hands-on experience across end-to-end supply chain processes, including production planning, sourcing, manufacturing, quality control, and logistics, while contributing to process improvement and operational excellence.

Program Overview

• Structured involvement across key functions such as Production, Planning, Sourcing, Quality Control, and Logistics
• Hands-on work in real business projects and daily operations
• Exposure to data analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration
• Coaching and mentoring from senior leaders

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Production Operations

• Support production planning, order tracking, and timeline management to ensure on-time delivery
• Assist in coordinating with factories, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Monitor production status, capacity, and potential risks or delays

Sourcing & Vendor Coordination

• Support supplier sourcing, evaluation, and performance tracking
• Assist in cost analysis, lead time management, and MOQ optimization
• Maintain accurate supplier and production documentation

Quality & Process Improvement

• Support quality control processes and compliance with GQ standards
• Participate in identifying root causes of production or quality issues and proposing improvements
• Assist in standardizing processes and improving operational efficiency

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Collect and analyze supply chain and production data (cost, lead time, efficiency, defects)
• Prepare reports and dashboards to support decision-making
• Use data insights to recommend process improvements

Projects & Continuous Improvement

• Participate in cross-functional projects related to supply chain optimization, cost reduction, or productivity improvement
• Support initiatives involving digital tools, automation, or system enhancements
• Contribute to sustainability and responsible sourcing initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field
• Fresh graduates or up to 2–3 years of relevant working experience
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
• Project management experience is preferred.
• High learning agility and willingness to rotate across functions
• Advance in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of ERP systems is a plus
