About the role

Lead and oversee the accounting and finance team to ensure efficient and accurate accounting processes and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the accounting and finance team to ensure efficient and accurate accounting processes and financial reporting
• Oversee the preparation of periodic financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations
• Analyze and present financial information to assist senior management in strategic decision-making
• Develop and implement effective accounting procedures and controls
• Manage relationships with external auditors and other relevant parties
• Provide mentoring and professional development for the accounting team

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Relevant professional accounting certification, such as CPA or CA
• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial accounting and management, with at least 5 years of experience in a managerial role
• Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant tax regulations
• Strong skills in financial analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Accurate
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and good leadership skills
