Manager Architect

An Data center Company is hiring an Architect at Managerial level . The ideal candidate should be a technically strong, proactive, and detail-oriented Architect with the ability to independently manage architectural deliverables and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. The candidate should demonstrate strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a project-driven environment. The role holder will manage architectural design, documentation, coordination, and execution-related activities for projects.

The role will involve working closely with internal engineering teams, consultants, contractors, clients, and project stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery of architectural designs in accordance with project requirements, applicable codes, and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural design and documentation activities across various stages of the project lifecycle.
• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, detailed designs, elevations, sections, and construction drawings.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate GFC/IFC drawings, architectural details, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Coordinate architectural designs with structural, MEP, electrical, civil, HVAC, fire & safety, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review consultant drawings and ensure alignment with project requirements, design intent, and technical standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders for design-related requirements and approvals.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor execution against approved architectural drawings and resolve design-related issues.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and technical submissions.
• Identify design clashes, discrepancies, and constructability issues and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
• Ensure architectural deliverables are completed within defined project timelines and quality standards.
• Support preparation and review of BOQs, material specifications, design estimates, and technical documentation.
• Assist in evaluating design alternatives and implementing value-engineering measures while maintaining project requirements and quality.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, statutory requirements, architectural standards, and project specifications.
• Maintain proper drawing/document control, revisions, and records throughout the project.
• Participate in design reviews, project meetings, consultant coordination meetings, and site discussions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior architects/design team members.
• Track design deliverables, approvals, and pending technical issues and ensure timely closure.
• Support project teams during execution by providing timely design clarifications and resolving architectural challenges.

Required Skills & Competencies

• B.Arch Bachelor of Architecture from a recognized institution.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in architectural design, detailing, documentation, and project coordination.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, infrastructure, data centre, or large-scale building projects will be preferred.
• Candidates with experience in multidisciplinary project environments and consultant coordination will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of architectural design, detailing, construction, and project execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant architectural design software.
• Working knowledge of Revit/BIM and multidisciplinary BIM coordination will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of MEP and structural coordination.
• Knowledge of construction materials, building systems, specifications, and detailing.
• Good understanding of applicable building codes, standards, and statutory requirements.
• Strong technical drawing and documentation skills.
• Ability to review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Strong stakeholder and consultant coordination skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects/deliverables and work within tight timelines.
• Strong attention to detail and ownership of assigned responsibilities.
