Manager - ASG Presales Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a Manager - Presales Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This remote leadership role will oversee presales engineering efforts that support complex sales cycles across data center, cloud, collaboration, and security solutions. The manager will partner closely with sales teams and clients to shape technical strategy, strengthen market credibility, and help advance business opportunities through consultative engagement. In addition, this role will coach the team, reinforce performance expectations, and help build a high-performing presales organization.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $180,000 – $370,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients at all levels to build relationships and identify opportunities
• Collaborate with sales teams to close deals by addressing technical aspects
• Build market credibility by engaging with the local technology community
• Train the sales team on effective positioning of the company's solutions
• Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback
• Drive employee recognition and address performance issues efficiently

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years in a pre-sales technical role
• 3+ years managing complex data center, cloud, collaboration, and security sales
• 2+ years of experience in coaching and employee development
• Deep understanding of the enterprise technology landscape, including major vendors like Dell, Cisco, and AWS
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
