Manager / Assistant Manager, Aquatics

An Established Private Members' Sports & Recreational Club | Singapore

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Manager / Assistant Manager, Aquatics to manage and enhance our Club's aquatics portfolio, including competitive swimming, artistic swimming and other aquatic activities.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on aquatics programme management experience who enjoys collaborating with coaching teams, developing competitive sports programmes and delivering positive member experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and enhance the Club's aquatics programmes, encompassing competitive swimming, artistic swimming and other aquatic activities, to drive participation, athlete development and member satisfaction.
• Work closely with coaches on training schedules, athlete development, competitions and programme administration.
• Coordinate aquatics meets, competitions, trials, assessments and other aquatic events.
• Liaise with athletes, parents, members, sports committees and relevant sporting organisations.
• Monitor programme participation, operational performance and expenditure.
• Manage member enquiries and sensitive feedback with confidence, tact and professionalism.
• Ensure effective programme delivery, safety compliance and positive member experiences.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Sports Management, Sports Science or a related field.
• Preferably 5 years of relevant experience for Manager appointment, or 3 years for Assistant Manager.
• Essential: Hands-on experience overseeing or coordinating both competitive swimming and artistic swimming programmes within a broader aquatics portfolio.
• Good understanding of competition administration, athlete development pathways and coaching operations.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to remain composed and professional when managing differing expectations or challenging situations.
• Must be able and willing to work evenings, weekends and public holidays, particularly during training sessions, competitions and Club events.
