MANAGER BARISTA

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Manager Barista to lead our dynamic café team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. Duties

• Supervise daily café operations, including food and beverage preparation, customer service, and cleanliness standards
• Lead and motivate the barista team to deliver outstanding coffee and drink service with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Manage retail sales transactions using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and processing payments
• Oversee non-alcoholic beverage preparation, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
• Train staff on proper food handling, beverage techniques, and customer service best practices
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, ingredients, and supplies; place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a barista or in food service with a strong background in coffee preparation and beverage service
• Previous management or supervisory experience in a café or retail environment preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing and cash handling
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
• Strong organizational skills with effective time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cashiering, processing transactions, and inventory management
• Ability to lead by example, motivate team members, and foster a collaborative work environment
