Manager, Broker Governance

Join a leading financial services organisation in a newly created opportunity within Distribution Governance.

This role sits at the intersection of risk, governance and distribution, providing oversight of third-party partners including brokers and aggregators. You'll use data-driven insights to assess risks, conduct assurance reviews, identify opportunities for improvement and partner with stakeholders to strengthen governance frameworks and risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and review third-party distribution partners through a risk-based governance framework
• Conduct assurance reviews and thematic assessments across broker and aggregator networks
• Lead investigations, deep-dives and improvement initiatives to address emerging risks
• Develop and enhance policies, frameworks and procedures
• Prepare management reporting and present insights to senior stakeholders
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive strong governance outcomes and risk culture

About You

• 3-5+ years' experience in Risk, Compliance, Operational Risk, Assurance or Governance within Financial Services
• Strong understanding of financial services regulations and risk management principles
• Proven ability to analyse complex issues and deliver practical solutions
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• Exposure to broker, aggregator or third-party risk management
