Manager Cable Production

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline.

Alternative Qualification

BSc/BS in Electrical Technology or Mechanical Technology will be considered along with substantial cable manufacturing experience.

Experience

7–10 years of relevant industrial/manufacturing experience, including at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role In cable Manufacturing.

Industry Experience

Direct experience in wire and cable manufacturing is strongly preferred.

Technical Knowledge

Working knowledge of cable manufacturing processes, production planning, extrusion, stranding, material consumption, and quality control.

Standards

Familiarity with applicable IEC, ASTM, BS, and relevant Pakistan standards.

Software Skills

Proficiency in MS Excel, production reporting, ERP/MRP systems, and manufacturing KPIs.

Management Skills

Strong leadership, problem-solving, planning, coordination, and decision-making abilities.

Key Technical Competencies

• Knowledge of LV, MV, or other relevant cable manufacturing processes, depending on the company's product portfolio.
• Understanding of conductor resistance, insulation thickness, dimensional tolerances, and routine electrical testing.
• Ability to interpret cable specifications, engineering drawings, and customer requirements.
• Knowledge of raw material yield, scrap analysis, production costing, and inventory control.

Familiarity with quality management systems, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement techniques such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per month
