The Manager of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab supervises the activities and specialized functions relative to the Franciscan Health Cardiac Catheterization Lab, which may include electrophysiology laboratory and/or interventional radiology laboratory. This position provides leadership and directs functions of assigned patient care area on a 24-hour basis, and ensures effective delivery of clinical patient care and compliance with administrative and clinical policies and procedures. The Manager collaborates with the director and medical director, and/or the appropriate physician in the development or modification of test procedures and protocols.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Direct, control and maintain assigned areas of operations.
• Maintain unit/department/area expenses/productivity within established guidelines.
• Prepare Cardiology Scheduling.
• Maintain responsibility of annual unit budget.
• Responsible for overseeing operations within Interventional Radiology, Non-Invasive Cardiology, and for inter and intra-departments communications, special projects and services.
• Coordinate compliance with HFAP, State and Federal agencies for assigned areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's Degree Radiology Technologist - Required - OR -
• Bachelor's Degree Managed Care - Required - OR -
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing - Required - OR -
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing obtained within 1 year of hire - Required
• 3 years Radiologic Technologist - Required - OR -
• 3 years Registered Nurse in the Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Lab - Required -AND-
• 3 years Supervisory experience - Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire - Required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire - Required
