Manager - Client On-boarding, Private Wealth Management

Responsible for leading and managing the Client Onboarding (COB) team within the Private Wealth Management Department. The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end account opening process, perform account opening, and to ensure rigorous compliance with relevant regulations, and drive operational efficiency to deliver a seamless onboarding experience for PWM clients.

Job Duties:

• Lead, supervise, and mentor the Client Onboarding team to ensure high-quality execution and operational efficiency.
• Allocate team resources effectively to manage workflow priorities, SLAs, and turnaround times.
• Handle client onboarding and new account opening
• Perform periodic review/ trigger event
• Ensure the quality of KYC documentation complies with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Serve as the primary escalation point and trusted partner for the Front Office to prioritize urgent requests and streamline workflows.
• Liaise closely with key internal stakeholders, including Compliance, Legal, and Operations.
• Review and update the relevant policy and procedures to ensure compliance with latest regulatory requirement
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and business initiatives as required.

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ relevant/related experience in retail/HNW/corporate client on-boarding, KYC or AML, more experience will be considered as VP
• University graduate in any disciplines
• Demonstrate an interest in the regulatory environment and control processes
• Hands on experience in account opening and static data input
• Sound knowledge in SFO, AML guidelines and Code of Conducts
• Highly proactive, analytical, detail-oriented, with strong decision-making capabilities under pressure.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including fluency in Putonghua with an eye for detail
• Good team working and communication & interpersonal skills
