About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead our Wanaka store in Otago. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving the success of our retail operation. As Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, from managing staff and achieving sales targets to maintaining store standards and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop your store team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets

• Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and till operations

• Maintain store presentation, merchandising standards and visual displays

• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and relevant retail legislation

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and the local community

• Manage stock control to minimize errors and optimize availability.

• Communicate updates to Senior management with Weekly Meetings with other Managers.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in Fashion retail management

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members

• Demonstrated success in achieving sales

• Excellent customer service and a genuine passion for delivering positive customer experiences

• Sound knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, merchandising and POS systems

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with the team and customers

• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement

• Experience in a similar retail setting or industry would be advantageous
