Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Manager to lead our retail team with enthusiasm and strategic insight. In this role, you will oversee daily store operations, drive sales growth, and ensure exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the store team, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating staff to ensure high performance and professional growth
• Manage daily store operations, including cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, weekly and monthly inventory control, and merchandising standards
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Oversee purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to optimize product availability and profitability
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and provide ongoing training & development opportunities
• Monitor store budget adherence, perform bookkeeping tasks, and manage payroll processing accurately
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations (federal and provincial), and legal requirements

Requirements

• Proven supervising experience in retail management or a similar leadership role with strong team management skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage customers effectively
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising, inventory management, and administrative tasks
• Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for sales transactions and bookkeeping
• Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff to build high-performing teams
• Knowledge of marketing strategies, pricing techniques, and sales management principles
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently through effective time management and prioritization skills
• Knowledge and experience in Asian Cuisine (ingridients, flavours and cooking styles) are assets.

Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour
