Job Summary

Be Bright Coffee is seeking an experienced, organized, and team-oriented Café Manager to oversee daily café operations and help create a welcoming experience for every guest. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, a passion for coffee and hospitality, and the ability to maintain high standards for service, beverage quality, cleanliness, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily café operations and ensure smooth service.
• Lead, support, and coordinate café team members during all service periods.
• Create staff schedules and help manage staffing needs.
• Train new employees on café procedures, service standards, beverage preparation, and workplace policies.
• Monitor guest service and address requests or concerns professionally.
• Ensure coffee, food, and beverage quality meets established café standards.
• Support baristas and team members during busy service periods.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of coffee, food, beverages, and supplies.
• Review deliveries and ensure products are stored properly.
• Manage cash handling, POS procedures, daily transactions, and closing processes.
• Maintain accurate operational and sales records as required.
• Ensure the café is clean, organized, safe, and properly maintained.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements.
• Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Help control operating costs while maintaining service and product standards.
• Encourage teamwork, professionalism, and a positive workplace environment.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Perform other management duties assigned by company leadership.

Requirements

• Previous café, coffee shop, restaurant, retail, or hospitality management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Knowledge of café operations, coffee service, and guest hospitality.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and basic operational procedures.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Reliable attendance and professional work ethic.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods and perform routine café duties.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
