We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Manager to lead our retail team and oversee daily store operations. Duties

• Lead and supervise retail sales teams, providing guidance on sales strategies, customer engagement, and product knowledge to maximize store performance.
• Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems management, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, coordinating purchasing and merchandising efforts, and conducting regular stock audits to prevent loss.
• Develop and implement training programs for staff on customer service excellence, product knowledge, POS systems, and operational procedures.
• Handle employee orientation, interviewing potential candidates, and participating in the recruiting process to build a strong team aligned with company goals.
• Manage scheduling shifts efficiently while ensuring optimal coverage during peak hours; oversee cashiering duties and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Utilize management skills to analyze sales data, prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and execute marketing initiatives to boost store visibility and sales.
• Foster a motivating environment through effective managerial communication and leadership; supervise staff performance and conduct regular evaluations.
• Ensure high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries promptly and resolving issues with professionalism.
• Maintain operational excellence by overseeing POS systems, pricing strategies, merchandising displays, and store cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience within the retail industry with a focus on sales team supervision and operational oversight.
• Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and inventory management.
• Demonstrated experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, merchandising techniques, and retail math calculations.
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for diverse customer interactions.
• Prior experience in retail store product knowledge including grocery or wireless sales is advantageous.
• Ability to lead teams effectively through supervision experience in retail management roles such as assistant manager or shift supervisor.
• Competence in budgeting, marketing strategies, operational management, stock replenishment, pricing adjustments, and training & development initiatives.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in cash handling and administrative tasks.
• Knowledge of wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus; familiarity with POS systems is essential.
• Basic math proficiency for daily financial transactions; excellent phone etiquette; time management skills; organizational abilities; managerial communication expertise; leadership qualities; multitasking capabilities; operational management acumen.
