Job Summary

Jurassic Magic Coffee is seeking a dependable, organized, and hospitality-focused Coffee Shop Manager to oversee daily café operations and support the team in delivering quality beverages and welcoming service. The successful candidate will lead team members, coordinate daily operations, maintain service and beverage standards, monitor inventory, and help create an efficient and positive café environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily coffee shop operations and ensure smooth service
• Lead, supervise, train, and support baristas and café team members
• Maintain high standards of beverage quality, guest service, cleanliness, and presentation
• Coordinate bar operations and team workflow during busy service periods
• Prepare and manage employee schedules based on business needs
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members as needed
• Monitor coffee, food, beverage, packaging, and café supply inventory
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and organizing products and supplies
• Monitor daily sales, cash handling, and POS procedures
• Address guest questions, requests, and service concerns professionally
• Help maintain consistent recipes, beverage preparation, and service standards
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures are followed
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked café areas
• Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance concerns
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily café procedures
• Help manage labor, inventory, and operating costs
• Communicate operational concerns and recommendations to ownership or senior management
• Support special events, promotions, and busy service periods
• Perform additional management duties assigned by company leadership

Requirements

• Previous coffee shop, café, restaurant, hospitality, or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong understanding of café and beverage-service operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to train, motivate, and support café team members
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and inventory management
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to service quality
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented work ethic

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
