Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager to lead our retail team and ensure the smooth operation of our store. As a Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing inventory, supervising team members, and maintaining a welcoming shopping environment. Duties

• Lead and supervise retail staff, including hiring, training, and developing team members to maximize their potential.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management.
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to optimize sales performance.
• Implement effective sales management techniques to meet or exceed sales targets while ensuring excellent customer service.
• Conduct employee orientation sessions, onboarding processes, and ongoing training to maintain high standards of performance.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate purchasing activities, manage payroll processing, bookkeeping, and maintain accurate financial records.

Requirements

• Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of retail sales operations, inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling procedures.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team effectively.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging with a broad customer base.
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development.
• Basic math skills for cash register operations, inventory calculations, and budgeting tasks.
• Experience with retail store product knowledge, merchandising, stocking procedures, and operational management.
• Ability to manage time efficiently while overseeing shift management and organizational tasks.
• Strong leadership qualities with supervisory experience in retail sales teams or assistant manager roles preferred.
