Manager

Padstow Brewing Company is an independent small-batch producer with an enviable reputation for premium products and service.

It established an up-market Tasting Room in Padstow town centre in 2020 as an outlet for its products. The Tasting Room operates as an independent profit centre and supplies additional offerings (such as food, retail products and merchandise).

The Tasting Room is firmly established as the Go-To place for independent quality beer and other beverages, and limited food offerings. It offers a calm environment in a busy location and attracts significant repeat custom. It operates seven days per week.

We are now looking for successor to take over the management of the Tasting Room, with training and support offered by the current Manager who is choosing to step back.

The challenge will be to build on the existing excellent reputation and service offering, growing sales and profits to achieve new targets. There are few constraints and so all opportunities are open for examination.

This may sound like your next role if you can you say Yes to all of the following:

· You have direct management experience of a running a team and achieving profit targets for a minimum of three years. You encourage initiative and self-development, and instil respect for colleagues.

· You are an enthusiastic professional, having already worked in a customer-facing role for a minimum of five years.

· You are used to working in a fast-paced environment where standards are very high.

· You are familiar with achieving sales and cost targets. You know how to get the best from others. And you deliver great customer service time and time again.

· You can organise various events and generate ideas for new series and offerings

· You're ready for a new challenge, and enthusiastic about working in the craft beer industry in a senior hospitality role.

You don't have to have worked in the craft beer or hospitality to apply. But it would be great if you have:

• Training in food hygiene and health and safety
• A good understanding of the craft beer industry, wine and spirits
• Social media management experience
• A Personal Licence

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
