Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant hospitality team. Duties

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Manage inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures to maintain quality and compliance with health regulations
• Supervise and train staff on food service management, POS systems such as Clover POS and customer service best practices
• Coordinate shift management, including scheduling, cash handling, and ensuring proper kitchen and front-of-house operations
• Implement staff training programs focusing on food safety management, culinary techniques, and hospitality excellence
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, interviewing prospective team members, and fostering team leadership development
• Analyze profit and loss statements to optimize budgeting strategies and improve overall restaurant profitability

Experience

• Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food industry operations
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices
• Demonstrated supervisory experience supervising hospitality teams with effective communication skills in managerial roles
• Familiarity with POS systems such as for transaction processing and reporting
• Experience in fine dining or casual dining settings with banquet or catering experience considered a plus
• Strong understanding of inventory control, food safety standards, and food production processes
• Previous assistant manager or managerial roles within the restaurant industry are highly desirable
