About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manager to join Jack Howard Dining in Bandung, West Java. This is a contract position that plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our dining establishment. As Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining service standards, and driving business performance. You will report directly to senior leadership and serve as a key liaison between our strategic objectives and frontline execution, ensuring that Jack Howard Dining continues to deliver exceptional experiences to our guests whilst meeting our business targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all operational aspects of the dining establishment, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and facility maintenance
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service standards and guest satisfaction across all areas of the restaurant
• Manage financial performance including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimisation
• Recruit, train, supervise and develop restaurant staff to ensure a motivated and capable team
• Analyse operational data and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and loyalty
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality standards and competitive pricing
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy and positioning
• Report on operational metrics and business performance to senior management

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a managerial or senior operational role within the hospitality, food service, or retail sector
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions
• Excellent operational management capabilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation
• Demonstrated experience in staff management, team development, and performance optimisation
• Strategic thinking ability combined with practical problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in relevant management systems and point-of-sale software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Knowledge of hospitality industry best practices and emerging trends
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing business requirements
