Looking for SAAS Based Company (Preferably Saas Based company)

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a hands-on, dependable, and detail-oriented Manager Finance & Accounts to take complete end-to-end ownership of our accounting, compliance, and financial operations. In this role, you will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, statutory taxation, billing, collections, payroll processing, and management reporting. This is a high-ownership position suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains zero-error standards, and can independently run the company's financial engine with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Accounting & Bookkeeping • Own day-to-day general ledger operations, bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and journal entries in Tally / Zoho Books. • Manage month-end and year-end financial closures, balance sheet reconciliations, and profit & loss statements. • Coordinate with external statutory auditors for quarterly and annual audits.

2. Invoicing & Accounts Receivable (Collections) • Generate accurate client invoices, credit notes, and subscription renewal bills in accordance with agreed contract terms. • Actively track outstanding receivables, monitor aging reports, and follow up directly with enterprise client finance departments to ensure prompt collections. • Reconcile client payments, TDS deducted by clients, and ensure issuance of corresponding TDS certificates (Form 16A).

3. Statutory Compliance, GST & Direct Tax • Compute, file, and reconcile monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and manage input tax credit (ITC) reconciliations. • Compute and deposit TDS liabilities on vendor payments, salaries, and contract services; file quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q). • Ensure strict adherence to advance tax timelines, PF/ESIC/PT regulations, and other statutory compliances under Indian tax laws.

4. Payroll Management & Accounts Payable • Run monthly payroll cycles, compute salary disbursements, reimbursements, deductions, and finalize net pay distribution. • Oversee vendor bill verification, purchase order match-ups, and scheduled vendor disbursements.

5. Financial MIS & Cash Flow Reporting • Prepare monthly and quarterly Management Information System (MIS) reports for leadership, highlighting revenue recognition, operating burn, cash flow statements.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Experience • Education: B.Com / M.Com, Inter CA (CA IPCC), or MBA in Finance.

• Experience: 4 to 7 years of comprehensive, hands-on experience managing finance and accounts

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced command over Tally Prime (or Zoho Books), MS Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions, financial models), and Indian government compliance portals (GSTN, TRACES, Income Tax). Key Skills & Competencies

• Good Communication: Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills to handle corporate client finance desks for collections, manage vendor discussions, and brief internal leadership.

• Ownership Mindset & Self-Starter: Ability to take total accountability for deadlines (statutory cutoAs, billing dates, payroll days) without needing follow-ups or micromanagement. • Accuracy & Detail Orientation: Rigorous focus on compliance hygiene, zero-error reconciliations, and clean documentation.
