We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Manager to lead our retail team and oversee daily store operations. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise retail staff, including assistant managers and sales associates, to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management.
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
• Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions, and performance evaluations to foster team growth.
• Handle recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates and participating in hiring decisions to build a strong retail team.
• Maintain operational compliance with company policies, including payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and cash handling.
• Implement sales management techniques to meet or exceed sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication skills and phone etiquette.

Skills

• Strong leadership with proven management experience in retail or similar environments.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently across various responsibilities such as inventory management and shift supervision.
• Proficiency in POS systems, retail math, basic math skills, and cash handling procedures.
• Effective communication skills including managerial communication, bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for diverse customer interactions.
• Experience in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development, and supervising teams.
• Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques such as merchandising, pricing strategies, sales management, and customer service excellence.
• Ability to manage operational tasks like purchasing, inventory control, stock stocking, and store maintenance effectively.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks during busy shifts or peak hours.
