Job Summary

MIAM CAFE-WYNWOOD is seeking an organized, customer-focused Store Manager to oversee daily café operations and lead a team dedicated to excellent hospitality. The successful candidate will help maintain service quality, coordinate staff schedules, manage inventory, and ensure guests enjoy a welcoming experience. This position is suited to a hands-on leader who can balance team development, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction in a busy café environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily café operations, including opening, closing, and shift coordination.
• Lead, train, and support front-of-house employees.
• Prepare staff schedules and coordinate coverage for busy periods.
• Maintain high standards for customer service, food quality, and café presentation.
• Address guest feedback and resolve service issues professionally.
• Monitor inventory, place supply orders, and reduce unnecessary waste.
• Track sales, labor costs, and operating expenses as assigned.
• Ensure employees follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance feedback.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to maintain efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Previous café, restaurant, or hospitality management experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and team-building abilities.
• Good organizational skills and attention to operational details.
• Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling tools, and inventory management.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependability and a professional, hands-on approach.
• Availability to work weekends and flexible shifts as business needs require.

Duties

• Conduct shift briefings and assign daily responsibilities.
• Review staffing levels and adjust assignments when necessary.
• Monitor cleanliness, presentation, and service standards.
• Check inventory levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Review operational issues and communicate updates to ownership or senior management.
• Help maintain a positive workplace and encourage teamwork.
• Complete daily reports and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
