Duties

• Lead and supervise daily store operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service activities
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing ongoing training and development to enhance team performance
• Manage payroll, bookkeeping, and cash handling processes with accuracy and integrity
• Oversee inventory control, merchandising, stocking, and pricing strategies to maximize sales potential
• Utilize POS systems for transactions, sales tracking, and reporting; ensure proper cashiering procedures are followed
• Implement marketing initiatives to attract customers and promote store products effectively
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and performance feedback; foster a collaborative work environment
• Monitor store performance metrics, manage budgets, and develop operational plans to meet business objectives
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and legal regulations related to retail management

Experience

• Proven management experience in retail or similar customer-focused environments with supervisory responsibilities
• Strong background in retail sales management, including team supervision and operational oversight
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing techniques, and recruiting strategies
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customer bases
• Experience with POS systems, inventory management tools, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling procedures
• Familiarity with retail industry sales techniques such as merchandising, pricing strategies, and promotional activities
• Excellent organizational skills paired with strong communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
• Prior experience in grocery stores or wireless sales is a plus; knowledge of retail math and basic financial principles is essential
