Position Summary

Blo Blow Dry Bar North Raleigh is seeking an energetic, service-focused Salon Manager / Lead Stylist to oversee daily salon operations while delivering exceptional styling services. This role combines hands-on leadership, team development, client experience management, and revenue growth responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a high-performing stylist with strong leadership skills, a passion for beauty, and the ability to inspire a team to consistently deliver an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of stylists, makeup artists, and salon associates.
• Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new team members.
• Foster a positive, professional, and inclusive salon culture.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing feedback, and support employee development.
• Manage staff scheduling to ensure optimal coverage and productivity.

Client Experience

• Ensure every guest receives exceptional service and a consistent Blo experience.
• Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Build strong client relationships to increase retention and referrals.
• Maintain a welcoming, clean, and professional salon environment.

Salon Operations

• Oversee daily operations, opening and closing procedures, and cash management.
• Monitor salon performance, productivity, and achievement of business goals.
• Manage inventory levels, product ordering, and retail merchandising.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, sanitation requirements, and state cosmetology regulations.
• Coordinate maintenance of salon equipment and facilities.

Sales & Business Development

• Drive revenue growth through service excellence, membership programs, and retail sales.
• Track key performance indicators including sales, service utilization, rebooking rates, and client retention.
• Develop and execute local marketing initiatives and community partnerships.
• Support social media and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and bookings.

Technical Styling Services

• Perform professional blowouts, styling services, and special occasion styling.
• Maintain technical expertise and knowledge of industry trends.
• Assist with education and styling technique development for team members.
• Serve as a role model for service quality, professionalism, and retail performance.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Cosmetology License required.
• 3+ years of professional salon or beauty industry experience.
• Previous supervisory, assistant manager, or salon management experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success in customer service and retail sales.
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with salon booking and point-of-sale systems.
• Availability to work flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $17.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
