Designation - Manager, Cold End Maintenance

Location- Jambusar, Gujarat(Near Vadodara)

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Electronics / Instrumentation / Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics or relevant discipline.

🏭 Experience: Relevant experience in Cold End Maintenance / Glass Container Manufacturing / Industrial Automation will be preferred.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

1. Cold End Equipment Operation & Maintenance

• Assist in planning and execution of maintenance activities for cold end equipment.
• Ensure all cold end machines are maintained in healthy operating condition.
• Monitor performance and reliability of equipment used in inspection and packaging lines.
• Support uninterrupted operation of production-supporting service equipment.

2. Internal Customer Satisfaction & Equipment Reliability

• Ensure cold end equipment availability to meet production requirements.
• Maintain equipment condition to support stable production output.
• Respond to operational issues affecting internal customer requirements.
• Improve reliability and consistency of cold end systems.

3. Breakdown Prevention & Maintenance Execution

• Support breakdown maintenance activities for cold end equipment.
• Identify root causes of recurring failures and support corrective actions.
• Reduce downtime through timely response and structured maintenance practices.
• Improve equipment performance through preventive maintenance execution.

4. Maintenance Planning Support

• Assist in planning maintenance schedules for cold end systems.
• Ensure readiness of manpower, tools, and resources for maintenance execution.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production requirements.
• Support smooth execution of planned shutdown activities.

5. Equipment Coverage & Technical Expertise

• Ensure effective maintenance of equipment such as single liners, shrink wrapping machines, box wrapping machines, carton sealing machines, M-machines, M-CAL machines, check plus machines, and dual head gauge machines.
• Support mechanical troubleshooting and operational stability of cold end systems.
• Assist in project execution related to equipment modification and improvement.
• Improve equipment reliability through technical intervention.

6. Inventory & Procurement Support

• Raise purchase requirements for required maintenance spares and consumables.
• Verify receipt of materials as per specifications and requirements.
• Monitor availability of critical maintenance items.
• Support timely availability of spares for uninterrupted maintenance activities.

7. Records & System Compliance

• Ensure maintenance records are updated as per defined procedures and manuals.
• Support compliance with ISO, Six Sigma, and system-based practices.
• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities and equipment history.
• Support system audits and traceability requirements.

8. Discipline, Safety & Housekeeping

• Maintain discipline and housekeeping standards in the cold end maintenance area.
• Ensure safe working practices during maintenance activities.
• Support compliance with safety norms in dust-free inspection and packing zones.
• Promote clean and organized working conditions.
