What they need
About The Landline Company
The Landline Company is redefining the airport journey by building infrastructure that decentralizes the airport. Its platform connects air and ground transportation, extending the airport experience into everyday places and enabling seamless door-to-gate travel while unlocking new demand.
Landline is pioneering remote terminal concepts that bring airport check-in, bag drop, and security screening closer to travelers, including directly into the neighborhoods and destinations where they live, work, and stay.
Operating across North America with a growing network of partners, including Air Canada, American Airlines, Sun Country Airlines, and CLEAR, Landline is building the infrastructure that allows travel to begin anywhere. Learn more at landlineco.com.
The Role
Landline is seeking a Manager, Commercial Analysis to help build and win the commercial partnerships behind a new category of travel infrastructure that will reshape the travel experience for millions of passengers.
This is a commercial, deal-facing role where you will help identify opportunities, build the business case, craft the pitch, and move partners from first conversation to signed agreement. You will own the analysis, models, and client-ready materials that make Landline's story impossible to ignore, particularly as we expand remote terminal "portal" concepts that bring airport check-in, bag drop, and security screening into neighborhoods, city centers, and major destinations.
You will work side by side with the Vice President, Commercial on Landline's highest-priority pursuits, supporting everything from prospecting and early concept development through pitching, negotiation, and close. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to be in the room where deals get done, is energized by senior stakeholders and partners, and can turn a rough opportunity into a compelling, revenue-generating partnership under tight timelines.
What You Will Do
Support the full deal lifecycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities through pitching, negotiation, and close
Build the business case and models that quantify the value of each partnership for Landline and its partners
Develop high-impact, executive-ready PowerPoint pitches and proposals that win over airline, airport, and public-sector decision-makers
Translate complex inputs into simple, compelling commercial narratives for external partners and internal leadership
Help develop and sell new concepts, including remote terminal and multimodal connectivity models
Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across the partner landscape
Manage and advance a pipeline of opportunities, keeping deals moving and stakeholders aligned
Support client meetings, workshops, negotiations, and presentations
Travel (as needed) to support key partner engagements and on-the-ground evaluations
What We’re Looking For
2 to 6 years of experience, ideally with 1–3 years in management consulting (BCG, Bain, McKinsey, Monitor Deloitte, etc.), corporate development, or a client-facing commercial role
A commercial, deal-oriented mindset with the drive to move opportunities forward and close
Strong analytical and Excel/modeling capabilities to build a rigorous business case
Exceptional PowerPoint skills with a strong eye for layout, structure, and persuasive storytelling
Demonstrated ability to take an unstructured problem and turn it into a clear, compelling pitch
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to and negotiating with senior stakeholders
Comfort building relationships and working directly with external partners
Highly detail-oriented with strong quality standards for outputs
Ability to work quickly and iteratively in a fast-moving environment
Interest in travel, aviation, infrastructure, logistics, or related industries is a plus
Location
Remote in a major metro area in Canada or the United States.
Compensation
$85,000 – $135,000 total compensation annually + equity
