Manager Community Engagement

We're looking for a Manager Community Engagement to lead our community partnership and engagement activities and employee community programs across Tasmania, helping bring our purpose to life through meaningful connections and experiences.

This is a unique opportunity to manage two of MyState's most important community assets: our partnership with MyState Bank Arena and the community programs delivered through the MyState Foundation.

About the role

As Manager Community Engagement, you'll be responsible for building and managing strong relationships with community organisations, partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes for MyState and the communities we serve.

You'll oversee community partnerships and grant programs through the MyState Foundation, manage activations and engagement opportunities associated with our MyState Bank Arena partnership, and create opportunities for our people to connect with and support local communities through volunteering and workplace giving programs.

This is a hands-on role that combines relationship management, community engagement, events and program & activation delivery. You'll be equally comfortable developing partnership opportunities, coordinating an event, managing sponsorship ticketing and hospitality experiences, or stepping in to support employee events and broader People team initiatives.

About you

You're a natural relationship builder who enjoys working with people and creating positive outcomes.

You'll bring:

• Experience in community engagement, partnerships, sponsorships, events, stakeholder management or a similar field.
• Exceptional relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong project management capability and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to step in wherever needed.
• A genuine passion for community impact.

You'll stand out if you also have:

• Experience in marketing, brand activation, communications or campaign delivery.
• Experience working with community organisations, not-for-profit partners or charitable programs.
• Experience managing sponsorship activations, events or hospitality programs.
• Strong storytelling skills and the ability to showcase community impact through engaging content and campaigns.
