Manager, Competitive Programs

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Competitive Programs to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will lead a newly shaped competitive programs function focused on improving how the organization detects, responds to, and learns from market competition. You will partner closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to turn competitive signals into clear actions, measurable plans, and stronger organizational responsiveness. The position combines team leadership, program management, and executive communication in a fast-moving, tech-forward environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $130,000 – $160,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Competitive Programs team
• Establish team goals, work plans, and success measures with leadership
• Manage complex competitor programs and ensure effective execution
• Build and refine playbooks and mechanisms for competitive responses
• Translate competitive signals into actionable program actions with functional teams
• Provide updates to senior leadership about program health and risks
• Influence cultural changes to enhance competitive responsiveness

Qualifications

• 9+ years in program management, GTM strategy, or a related field
• 2+ years of people-management experience
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional programs
• Strong judgment in prioritizing competing demands
• Excellent analytical skills, including using data to measure program outcomes
• Experience navigating senior stakeholders and driving alignment
• Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to clearly report risks and trade-offs
