Manager - Compliance

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate submission of all regulatory returns, reports, and disclosures to IRDAI in compliance with applicable regulations and circulars.
• Coordinate with business functions to collate, validate, and submit regulatory information within prescribed timelines.
• Maintain and strengthen the regulatory reporting governance framework, including data quality checks and audit trails.
• Manage the end-to-end outsourcing governance process, including onboarding, due diligence, risk assessments, materiality evaluations, and periodic reviews of outsourced activities.
• Monitor compliance with IRDAI Outsourcing of Activities Regulations and internal outsourcing policies.
• Track outsourcing contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), performance metrics, and renewal requirements.
• Conduct periodic reviews and compliance testing of outsourced service providers and ensure closure of identified gaps.
• Liaise with IRDAI, auditors, and internal stakeholders during inspections, audits, and regulatory reviews.
• Support implementation of regulatory reporting and outsourcing-related projects, automation, and process improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of IRDAI Regulations, Circulars, and Reporting requirements applicable to Life Insurance companies.
• In-depth understanding of IRDAI Outsourcing of Activities.
• Regulations and vendor governance practices.
• Regulatory reporting and compliance management expertise.
