Title: Manager, Control & Process Improvement
Location: Bangkok (Head Office – Sathorn)
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
Aura Wellness Group is one of Thailand's fastest-growing aesthetics and wellness platforms, with a portfolio that includes Aura Bangkok Clinic, Aura Xpress, and AURASOL Wellness & Spa. We serve both local and international clients with a full range of beauty, skin, and wellness solutions – from Botox and fillers to laser treatments and spa programs. From our head office in Sathorn, we support a rapidly expanding network of clinics and wellness outlets in Bangkok and key provinces. We are a performance-driven, yet friendly and collaborative organisation where ideas are valued, speed matters, and people who take ownership can grow quickly.
About the Role
You will build the Group's process analysis, control, improvement, and monitoring capability — working directly with transaction-level data and spending around a third of your time in clinics to understand how our commercial and operating processes actually behave, not only how they are documented. Where the data or the sites show something that doesn't add up, you investigate it, quantify it, and bring management a clear recommendation. Some of what you raise will be unwelcome, so sound judgment and the composure to hold a position without turning the conversation adversarial are essential.
This role is judged on what you find that no one asked you to look for. It suits someone with strong critical thinking, broad commercial curiosity, and the confidence to work without a brief. This is not a framework or reporting role. We expect end-to-end thinking: whether the fix can realistically be implemented, at what cost, by whom, and what it trades off commercially.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process monitoring, analysis, and improvements
- Design and run an ongoing control and monitoring program across the Group's revenue, commercial, retail, and operating processes.
- Build the analysis yourself. You will work directly with transaction-level data from the Group's core systems to identify patterns, outliers, and weaknesses that routine management reporting does not surface.
- Form and test hypotheses about where processes may be operating outside their intended design, separating genuine signal from seasonality, campaign effects, and legitimate performance variation.
- Assess where processes are exposed to misuse, error, or leakage, and where policy design permits outcomes it was never intended to allow.
- Spend meaningful time at clinic sites. Observe how processes run in practice, speak with frontline staff and retail leaders, and verify that documented procedure matches actual behavior.
- Convert observations into evidenced written cases: the pattern, the quantified financial impact, the underlying weakness, and a specific recommendation.
- Design and implement end-to-end recommended processes or flows improvements, together with retail leaders and other stakeholders, ensuring business, operation, and control alignments.
- Present analysis and recommended actions to senior management. This role analyses and recommends; management decides the outcome. Confidentiality, PDPA compliance, and due process apply throughout.
- Track whether recommended changes are implemented, and whether the issue actually reduces.
- Support risk assessment and management activities.
2. Policy framework and coordination
- Own relevant policies and SOPs framework: register, version control, ownership, review cadence, and applicability.
- Act as coordination point for the Group's external professional advisers, including its outsourced internal audit provider — facilitating information requests, coordinating responses across Finance, Operations, HR, and IT, and holding internal owners to agreed timelines.
- Maintain the Group's issues and remediation tracker end to end: agree root cause with process owners, challenge superficial remediation, verify closure, and prevent recurrence.
- Support internal control and governance reporting for senior management and, as required, the Audit & Risk Committee, in coordination with the Company Secretary.
- Support compliance calendar activities including conflict-of-interest declarations, code of conduct acknowledgements, and related training cycles, and support disclosure readiness workflow alongside Finance, Legal, and the Company Secretary.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in internal control, auditing, risk consulting, operations or retail process review, business control & assurance, or related fields. Big 4 advisory or listed-company background strongly preferred.
- Hands-on with data, and comfortable getting to the answer yourself. You work directly with transaction-level data — advanced Excel, reconciliation across systems, and increasingly AI tools — rather than commissioning analysis from others.
- Critical thinking and commercial judgment across a broad range of business processes, and the instinct to notice when something doesn't fit and pursue it.
- A strong facilitator, able to move a defensive room toward joint problem-solving, run structured working sessions, and hold teams to agreed actions.
- Discretion and composure. You can challenge senior stakeholders constructively and hold a position under pressure.
- Thai native speaker with professional working English for management-level documents and engagement with international advisers.

- Listed-company or IPO-preparation experience
- Multi-site consumer operations background — retail, healthcare, hospitality, or F&B
