Manager, Corporate Actuarial

About the opportunity

A global insurance company is looking for an Actuarial Manager to join its Corporate Valuation team. This is a high-impact role with exposure across multiple regions, products, and reporting bases, working closely with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead valuation analysis across multiple reporting bases (e.g. IFRS 17, US GAAP / LDTI)
• Review and interpret model outputs to support financial reporting and business planning
• Oversee model validation, controls, and governance to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Partner with teams across Finance, Pricing, and Risk to deliver insights and support decision-making
• Support scenario testing, sensitivities, and new deal analysis
• Drive improvements in modelling processes, controls, and systems
• Provide guidance and mentorship to a small team of actuaries

Requirements

• Qualified actuary (FSA/FCIA or equivalent) with 5+ years’ experience in life insurance or reinsurance
• Strong experience in valuation / financial reporting
• Working knowledge of IFRS 17 and/or US GAAP (LDTI)
• Experience with actuarial modelling tools (e.g. AXIS, Tyche) and advanced Excel skills
• Proven ability to improve processes and drive change
• Strong communication skills with ability to work across global teams
