Manager (Corporate and Engagement)

What The Role Is PMO Strategy Group leads and organises the Public Service to develop and implement the Government’s strategic priorities.

As a Manager, you will develop and implement integrated communications strategies across marketing communications, stakeholder outreach and engagement, and corporate branding. Through this work, you will raise awareness of and build support for the Government’s policies and initiatives in cross-cutting areas such as marriage and parenthood and climate change.

What You Will Be Working On

• Plan and manage stakeholder engagement efforts by identifying and engaging relevant stakeholders, directly or through partners, to facilitate discussions and gather feedback on policies and initiatives.
• Coordinate digital and social media marketing as part of integrated communications campaigns.
• Develop platform-specific content that is relevant and engaging for target audiences. This includes conceptualising content, copywriting, storyboarding, editing photos and videos, and crafting compelling captions.
• Analyse digital and social media performance, identify emerging trends and content opportunities, and use these insights to optimise reach, views and engagement.
• Monitor and analyse news coverage and online conversations to identify issues and developments relevant to the team’s work.
• Review and maintain corporate collaterals to ensure alignment with branding guidelines, and keep the corporate gift registry up to date.

What We Are Looking For

• Excellent written and spoken English. Proficiency in another language would be an advantage.
• Strong project management, analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality work within tight deadlines.
• A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills, including the ability to design effective engagement approaches, foster collaboration and distil feedback into actionable insights.
• Strong understanding of evolving digital and social media trends, with the ability to translate insights into engaging content tailored to target audiences.
