  • Identify, screen, and evaluate potential acquisition targets and partnership opportunities aligned with corporate strategy, including target search and competitive benchmarking.
  • Prepare and review financial and valuation models, investment papers, and board materials to support decision-making on M&A opportunities.
  • Manage the due diligence process across commercial, financial, and legal workstreams, coordinating internal stakeholders and external advisors.
  • Assess synergies and lead post-merger integration planning to ensure transactions deliver their intended value.
  • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and the competitive landscape to surface new M&A and growth opportunities.
  • Present analysis, findings, and recommendations clearly to senior leadership, functional heads, and the board.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members supporting transactions; review their analysis and outputs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Tax, and Operations to ensure deals are executed smoothly and in compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in M&A advisory, investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or strategy consulting.
  • Prior transaction experience in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics; MBA or CFA is an advantage.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience managing due diligence processes and deal negotiations.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial and strategic information to senior leadership.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional deal teams and manage multiple workstreams under time pressure.
