Job Requirements

1. Education Level and Field of Study

• A Master’s degree or higher in Journalism, Mass Communication, Strategic Communication, or a related field.

2. Work Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in communication policy and planning, brand communication, corporate communications, or related fields.

3. Special Skills and Competencies

• Strategic Communication Planning: Ability to analyze organizational vision, direction, and strategic objectives and translate them into systematic internal and external corporate image strategies.
• Crisis Communication Management: Ability to assess risks, coordinate responses promptly, and manage communications effectively during emergencies or organizational crises to safeguard NSTDA’s reputation.
• Corporate Brand Storytelling: Ability to develop and communicate compelling, credible narratives highlighting NSTDA’s activities, research achievements, and innovations to engage diverse target audiences.
• CSR and ESG Knowledge: Understanding of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, sustainable development frameworks, and meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices that go beyond conventional public relations activities.
• Data-Driven PR and Digital Communication: Ability to analyze social media trends and use media monitoring and social listening tools to track public sentiment, assess communication effectiveness, and refine strategies based on data.
• Stakeholder Relations: Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills to build and maintain effective relationships with government agencies, business partners, local communities, and internal personnel.

Key Responsibilities

1.       Strategic Planning: Develop annual corporate image and public relations strategies for NSTDA, aligning organizational objectives as a driving force for science, technology, and innovation with societal expectations and stakeholder needs.

2.       Corporate Image and Thought Leadership: Strengthen NSTDA’s corporate image and the professional profiles of its executives, positioning the organization as a leading institution in Thailand’s science, technology, and innovation ecosystem.

3.       Research and Innovation Impact: Promote the commercial and societal impact of NSTDA’s research and innovations, strengthening the organization’s reputation through tangible economic and social contributions.

4.       Crisis and Risk Management: Monitor emerging issues, assess reputational risks, and coordinate communication responses to prevent or mitigate potential crises affecting NSTDA.

5.       Visitor Relations and Institutional Visits: Oversee the planning and coordination of institutional visits, site tours, and official guest receptions to ensure a professional and positive experience that reflects NSTDA’s image.

6.       Sustainability Communication: Develop and implement communication initiatives to highlight NSTDA’s sustainability efforts, ESG commitments, and contributions to sustainable development for internal and external audiences.
