GENERAL DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Manager, Data & Digital Transformation to join our Data Management Team and lead FORMIA’s enterprise-wide data and digital transformation agenda. The role is responsible for establishing and governing the company’s data framework, driving business intelligence initiatives, overseeing data platform development, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

As a strategic business partner, you will collaborate with stakeholders across all functions to translate business requirements into scalable reporting, analytics, automation, and AI solutions. You will lead internal and external development resources, drive data governance standards, and ensure that FORMIA’s digital ecosystem supports future business growth and operational excellence. The right candidate must possess a strong blend of business acumen, technical expertise, leadership capability, and a passion for transforming data into actionable business value.

ESSENTIAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Data Strategy & Governance

• Lead the company-wide data governance framework, including standards, definitions, ownership, policies, and processes.
• Establish best practices to ensure data consistency, integrity, traceability, and accessibility across the organization.
• Maintain governance documentation, KPI definitions, and reporting standards to support enterprise-wide alignment.
• Act as a key advisor to management on data strategy and transformation priorities.

Business Intelligence & Analytics

• Translate business challenges and opportunities into scalable reporting and analytical solutions.
• Lead the design, development, and continuous enhancement of enterprise dashboards, reports, and KPI frameworks.
• Deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and business performance improvements.
• Challenge and refine KPI logic to ensure meaningful measurement of organizational performance.

Data Platform & Systems Management

• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of Power BI reporting environments, data models, and semantic layers.
• Ensure integration between Microsoft Business Central, Power BI, and other enterprise applications.
• Drive improvements to the ERP ecosystem by collaborating with business users and external solution partners.
• Manage external vendors and development partners to ensure successful and timely delivery of technology initiatives.

Digital Transformation, Automation & AI

• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve operational efficiency through digital solutions.
• Lead automation initiatives that reduce manual workload and improve data reliability.
• Evaluate and implement practical AI and advanced analytics solutions that generate measurable business value.
• Build and maintain a roadmap for digital transformation projects across the organization.

Stakeholder Management & Data Enablement

• Act as the primary contact point for business intelligence, reporting, and data-related initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with leaders and functional teams to identify reporting and analytics needs.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to business users to increase adoption of data-driven decision-making.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability through data visibility.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• 8-15 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Management, Digital Transformation, or related fields.
• Strong expertise in SQL, data modelling, and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Advanced experience with Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, dashboard development, and performance optimization.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
• Experience establishing data governance frameworks, standards, and KPI definitions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience integrating ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Business Central, with reporting and analytics platforms.
• Exposure to finance, margin analysis, operational reporting, and business performance management is highly desirable.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, automation tools, and AI-enabled business solutions is an advantage.
• Experience managing third-party vendors, consultants, and technology partners.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Structured, proactive, and commercially minded, with the ability to balance business priorities and technical considerations.
• Passionate about leveraging data and technology to drive continuous improvement and long-term business value.
