Manager, Data Operations - APAC

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Data Operations - APAC to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will lead a regional data operations function with a strong focus on APAC market coverage, team development, and operational execution. The manager will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen data quality, benchmarking, and market intelligence used to support business decisions. This position also plays a key role in hiring, onboarding, and developing a high-performing multi-regional team while advancing strategic priorities for the group.

Location: Seattle, WA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $209,144+ annually

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the department.
• Lead recruiting and hiring efforts for APAC data operations teams.
• Ensure successful training and onboarding of new hires in APAC data operations.
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with direct reports to discuss performance and career development.
• Create quarterly competitive benchmarking documents for APAC datasets.
• Develop comprehensive market knowledge of APAC data providers.
• Drive strategic initiatives and vision for APAC teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field, or foreign equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience.
• People management experience overseeing multi-regional teams.
• Experience with SQL and/or Python for operational data analysis.
• Familiarity with BI tools like PowerBI for KPI tracking and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of APAC private and public capital markets and regionalized research methodologies.
