Manager - Data Solutions & AI

Role Overview

Lenovo PCCW Solutions (LPS) is seeking an experienced Manager - Data Solutions & AI to drive pre-sales and customer engagement for enterprise AI and cloud data solutions.

This role focuses on solution consulting, proposal development, tender responses, client presentations, and PoC delivery, presales to support sales conversion. You will work closely with clients to understand business needs, design data and AI solutions, and ensure successful transition to project delivery teams.

The ideal candidate combines strong Data & AI expertise with consulting, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Sales & Solution Consulting (80-90%):

• Engage clients to understand business and technical requirements.
• Lead workshops and solution discovery sessions.
• Deliver strategic consulting guidance to clients
• Drive measurable outcomes aligned with their business objectives.
• Design cloud-based data and AI solutions.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, RFIs, RFPs, and tender responses
• Design and Conduct demos, PoCs, and solution presentations.
• Support GTM initiatives and business development activities and solution offerings.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop new opportunities.

Customer Success & Project Enablement

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the engagement.
• Guide clients on data and AI transformation strategies.
• Influence stakeholders and drive solution adoption.
• Anticipate risks and resolve issues proactively.
• Ensure project teams fully understand client expectations and business objectives during implementation.
• Support successful handover from pre-sales to delivery teams.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in AI, Data, Analytics, or Digital Transformation consulting.
• Strong experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, and client engagement.
• Proven experience in RFP, RFI, and tender preparation.
• Hands-on experience in solution design, PoC delivery, and implementation projects.
• Experience in System Integrators (SI), Consulting Firms, or Technology Consulting environments.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Data Management and Data Platforms.
• Solid experience in Data, Machine Learning and AI, Generative AI, and Cloud-based solutions.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions.
• Proactive, dynamic, and fast learner.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, communication and presentation skills.
• Good to have certifications in Cloud Data and AI area, or On-prem open source.
