We are seeking a Manager – Database & Integration Operations to lead the strategy, operations, and continuous improvement of critical database and integration services. This role combines technical leadership, operational excellence, people management, and strategic planning to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable data platform services that support organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

IT Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and execute technology strategies, roadmaps, and operational plans aligned with business and IT objectives.
• Present technology initiatives, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on service quality, operational efficiency, and business value.
• Ensure technology platforms and services support evolving organizational needs and digital transformation goals.

Database & Integration Platform Management

• Oversee enterprise database and integration environments, including operational and analytical data platforms.
• Manage technologies supporting data warehouses, data marts, data lakes, middleware, APIs, messaging systems, and integration services.
• Ensure platform availability, performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Lead operational support, maintenance, upgrades, and optimization initiatives for enterprise data platforms.
• Address risks proactively and implement solutions that improve service stability and efficiency.

Service Delivery & Operational Excellence

• Establish and monitor service-level objectives, operational metrics, and performance standards.
• Ensure services meet quality, cost, delivery, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Drive operational excellence through process standardization, automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Manage incident response, problem resolution, capacity planning, and platform lifecycle activities.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Build strong relationships with business leaders, technology teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver effective technology solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, service levels, and performance outcomes.
• Influence decision-making through effective communication, relationship-building, and strategic recommendations.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams responsible for database and integration services.
• Create an engaging work environment focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching conversations, career development planning, and succession management.
• Foster employee engagement and promote a culture of innovation and operational excellence.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and talent development initiatives.

Project & Program Management

• Ensure successful delivery of technology initiatives within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
• Partner with project teams to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively.
• Monitor project performance and address risks, dependencies, and resource constraints.
• Support enterprise modernization, infrastructure transformation, and cloud adoption initiatives.

Governance, Security & Compliance

• Establish and enforce standards, policies, procedures, and best practices for database and integration services.
• Ensure compliance with security requirements, governance frameworks, and regulatory obligations.
• Support data privacy, risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity objectives.
• Maintain strong operational controls and documentation standards across supported environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in information technology, infrastructure, database management, data engineering, or related disciplines.
• Previous experience in Database Administration, Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Integration Services.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams and enterprise technology operations.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise platforms and business-critical environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing database, middleware, integration, and cloud-based platforms.
• Strong background in enterprise architecture, infrastructure planning, and technology strategy.
• Experience leading cloud migration, modernization, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and enterprise integration architectures.
• Experience managing distributed teams, outsourced resources, and technology vendors.
• Understanding of data governance, privacy regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting large application portfolios and enterprise-scale operations.
