What they need

About the job

Company Description: Swich is a fintech company building a financial operating system for merchants in emerging markets, where legacy payment infrastructure has historically limited business growth. Designed API-first, Swich provides a single integration that enables merchants to accept payments across channels, manage large-scale payouts, facilitate cross-border transfers, and access embedded finance and lending. The platform offers a unified infrastructure layer that reduces friction and improves reliability for businesses of all sizes. Swich is driven by a mission-focused, high-performing team that views every transaction as an opportunity for economic progress. Today, over 15,000 businesses run on Swich, with that number growing rapidly.

Role Description: The Manager – Demand Partnership (Fintech) will lead and grow strategic partnerships that drive demand generation and revenue for Swich’s merchant-focused financial solutions. This full-time, on-site role based in Karāchi involves identifying and onboarding new partners, negotiating and structuring partnership agreements, and managing ongoing partner relationships to maximize mutual value. The role includes collaborating with product, sales, and marketing teams to design joint go-to-market initiatives, co-branded campaigns, and integrated offerings tailored to merchant needs. The manager will analyze performance data, optimize partner programs, and ensure pipeline growth through coordinated demand-generation activities. Responsibility also extends to maintaining market intelligence on the fintech ecosystem, presenting insights to leadership, and contributing to long-term partnership strategy.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing and growing strategic partnerships end-to-end, including relationship management, commercial negotiations, renewals, SLAs, and overall account health.
  • Demonstrated ability to source, structure, and scale new partnerships across areas such as BNPL, ride-hailing, Raast QR, merchant acquisition, and other strategic channels.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in negotiating partnership terms and coordinating with legal teams to finalize agreements and contractual arrangements.
  • Ability to work closely with Product and Technology teams to resolve partnership and integration-related challenges, including API integrations, tokenization, and other technical blockers.
  • Strong business development and partnership management skills, with a proven ability to structure, negotiate, and scale commercially viable relationships.
  • Sound understanding of fintech, payments, financial services, and digital ecosystems, with the ability to understand APIs, digital products, integrations, and merchant-focused solutions.
  • Experience in demand generation, growth strategy, and go-to-market planning, preferably within a B2B, fintech, platform-based, or digital environment.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze partnership performance, prepare reports, identify opportunities, and use insights to optimize partner programs and campaigns.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working closely with Sales, Product, Technology, Marketing, Legal, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with strong ownership, problem-solving capabilities, strategic thinking, and execution skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications in fintech, payments, business development, or partnerships will be an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in a similar Partnerships, Business Development, Growth, or Strategic Alliances role within fintech, payments, SaaS, digital platforms, or emerging-market ecosystems will be highly preferred.
