About the role

This role will be responsible for leading the FF&E lifecycle for new builds and asset enhancement projects from initial concept while maintaining rigorous oversight of capital expenditure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and forecast complete FF&E capital expenditure budgets for new builds and asset enhancement projects. Track and monitor spending against project baselines and drive cost-optimization strategies without compromising design integrity.
• Lead FF&E design development for hospitality projects, including furniture, lighting, fabrics, carpets, artwork, and decorative accessories.
• Source and specify materials, finishes, and products from local and international suppliers.
• Drive carpet design development, including concept, pattern, color palette, and specifications.
• Develop innovative spatial planning solutions that enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and consultants.
• Prepare and present design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, and project presentations.
• Review samples, mock-ups, shop drawings, and material submissions to ensure design quality and compliance.
• Support project implementation through coordination with consultants, operators, procurement, and project teams.

About you

• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in hospitality, luxury residential, or commercial interior design.
• Strong knowledge of FF&E, materials, finishes, furniture construction, and sourcing.
• Proven experience in carpet design development and material specification.
• Excellent spatial planning, storytelling, and presentation skills.
• Strong supplier network within the interior design industry.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Microsoft Office, PDF markup tools, and other AI design tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Midjourney, ChatGPT) preferred for concept development and presentation enhancement.
