Manager - Digital Transformation / MES

Location - corporate (Vadodara) OR any plant locations (Jambusar /Kosamba), Gujarat

Exp. - 8 to 10 years

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive implementation of digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing and supply chain functions in alignment with the organization’s Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing roadmap.
2. Develop and execute digital project roadmaps by translating business and plant requirements into practical, scalable and ROI-focused digital solutions.
3. Lead implementation and enhancement of MES and shop-floor digital solutions , ensuring effective integration with ERP, automation and other enterprise applications.
4. Implement and support technologies such as IIoT, Edge Computing, machine connectivity and manufacturing analytics to enable real-time visibility and data-driven operations.
5. Drive digital use cases including production monitoring, OEE improvement, predictive maintenance, quality analytics, energy monitoring, process automation and digital dashboards .
6. Partner with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Automation/OT and IT teams to identify operational challenges and convert them into digital improvement initiatives.
7. Coordinate IT-OT integration , including connectivity between MES, PLC/SCADA, industrial equipment, IoT platforms, ERP and analytics applications.
8. Manage digital transformation projects through the complete lifecycle, including requirement gathering, solution design, budgeting, vendor selection, implementation, UAT, commissioning, user training and stabilization .
9. Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks and business benefits, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed scope, cost, quality and timelines .
10. Support the implementation of automation, predictive analytics and Industry 4.0 solutions aimed at improving productivity, asset reliability, quality, energy efficiency and manufacturing performance.
11. Establish appropriate system governance, cybersecurity, user-access controls, data integrity and compliance practices for manufacturing digital platforms in coordination with relevant IT and Information Security teams.
