Manager - Dog Daycare

Club Dogfish,

Awarded Best Dog Daycare in Seattle, 2026, needs a new leader to take the reigns and steer us into the future. The Club is looking for a leader with initiative, charisma, and a keen eye for what needs to be done at the facility.

Our leader is someone that will be interacting with clients on a daily basis as they drop-off and pick-up their dogs. They will need to quickly learn the names of our doggy clients, which playgroup best fits their personality, as well as their individual quirks. Interacting with clients at this frequency means our leader needs to be a people person (or at least good at pretending to be). You will be the face of our business and it is important that you create a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Additional responsibilities will include managing the employees on our team, writing their schedules, admin work, answering calls and emails, keeping clients updated on how their dog is doing, tracking medication for the dogs, maintaining organizational processes for belongings of all the dogs staying with us, maintaining high standards of cleanliness for the facility, managing reservations, invoicing, collecting payments, and coming up with fun and engaging activities for the dogs.

Our leader cannot be someone that shies away from confrontation and they need to be comfortable holding the dog wranglers to a high standard.

This is, at times, a physically demanding job.
