Manager - Enforcement | Dubai
We are supporting a prominent financial services regulator in Dubai with the appointment of a Manager – Enforcement. This role sits within a specialist regulatory function focused on investigating misconduct, enforcing compliance with the regulatory framework, and supporting action against individuals and entities that fail to meet their statutory obligations.
Role Overview
The position involves assessing allegations of misconduct, conducting regulatory investigations, preparing evidence and supporting litigation and enforcement activities. It offers exposure to complex regulatory matters, collaboration with supervisory teams, and engagement with local and international regulatory and law enforcement authorities.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Investigations – Receive and assess allegations of misconduct, conduct investigations, and identify conduct that may undermine the integrity or reputation of the financial services sector.
Evidence & Case Preparation – Prepare investigation reports, briefs of evidence and supporting documentation for potential enforcement action and litigation.
Enforcement & Litigation – Support regulatory proceedings and contribute to action against individuals and entities that breach applicable laws, regulations or statutory obligations.
Regulatory Collaboration – Work closely with internal supervisory teams and external stakeholders, including regulators, law enforcement agencies and prosecution authorities.
Risk & Governance – Apply departmental policies and procedures, contribute to effective risk management, and maintain high standards of accuracy, organisation and reporting.
Key Requirements
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in regulatory enforcement, investigations, prosecution or a closely related field.
- Experience investigating misconduct, analysing evidence and preparing case files, investigation reports or briefs of evidence.
- Exposure to litigation, prosecution, court procedures or formal regulatory enforcement proceedings.
- Understanding of financial services, regulatory frameworks and investigative processes.
- Strong analytical, legal drafting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic would be an advantage.
Why This Role Stands Out
This opportunity offers the chance to contribute directly to the integrity of Dubai's financial services environment through substantive investigative and enforcement work. It would suit professionals looking to deepen their experience in regulatory investigations, financial misconduct and enforcement proceedings within a specialist regulatory setting.
