Manager, Engineering - Ads

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Engineering - Ads to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will lead a mobile engineering team focused on building and improving consumer-facing experiences that drive meaningful product outcomes. You will partner closely with Product and Design to shape solutions, guide delivery with strong backlog management, and balance feature work with technical debt to support long-term maintainability. The position also calls for hands-on people leadership, fostering a high-trust team environment, and ensuring the team delivers high-quality software at scale.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $140,000 – $190,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Design to discover valuable solutions
• Manage delivery by maintaining a healthy backlog and scheduling tech debt work
• Run team ceremonies and coach others to foster an engaged team environment
• Coach and develop team members while prioritizing team health
• Ensure quality and maintainability of codebases during project transitions

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading mobile engineering teams with a focus on outcomes
• Strong foundation in A/B testing for product iterations
• Experience with consumer-facing native app development using agile methodologies
• Proven collaboration with Product, Design, and Engineering teams
• Track record of developing high-trust engineering teams through mentorship
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices for high-traffic mobile applications
