Manager, Equipment Maintenance

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Management-50%

• Manage and support the machine installation, operation and maintenance.
• Ensure timely repair machine fault through internal maintenance and external services.
• Build spare parts management system including inventory management and reducing purchase cost.
• Complies with the company’s EHS demand. Other responsibilities are included on above. Familiar with the company’s quality procedures, strictly follows the company’s quality system of ISO9001 and ISO14001.
• Machine KPI for common and homemade machine.
• Cost control within expense and fixed assets budget.
• 0 accident injuries for maintenance team and on-site contractor.

Maintenance -20%

• Make preventive maintenance plan and schedule according to the machine and company requirement.
• Review all the documentation related maintenance procedures and update them when necessary. Provide the related training for the operators and make sure they follow the guidance and work instruction.
• Continue to improve machine performance.

Qualification-10%

• Communicates with corporate engineering staff to search supplier for some common machines.
• Evaluate supplier competency and provide the suggestion to purchasing department.
• Make sure all the capital expenditure are within the budget.

Safety and on-site contractor management-10%

• Responsible for all personnel safety training to all the technicians and outsourced contractor.
• Ensures all the on-site construction or machine installation related activities are met EHS demand.
• Makes sure all the outsourced contractors (workers) are insured and inform their responsibilities and liabilities in written form.

People Development and employee relations-10%

• Training

Analyzes self-knowledge and skills, propose training needs based on the performance appraisal result.

Is willing to share knowledge and experience with other people to help build a learning organization.

Performance Management: Follows performance management procedures to manage own performance and improve.

Career Development: Encourage employees to learn new skills, broaden their work field.

Education & Experience

• Major in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical. Advanced educational qualifications will be a plus. Candidates need have suitable professional experience with bachelor degree.
• Typically 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Typically requires 3+ years managerial/leadership experience
• Conversant with the project management knowledge.
• Familiar with Auto CAD & Microsoft MS Office software.
• Fluency English spoken and written English.
• Demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve results through others experience with problem analysis and resolution.
• Able to develop long-term plans, program and goals, to evaluate work accomplishments and provide effective feedback.
• Experienced with ISO quality and business process management.

• Ability to handle multiple complex issues involving external and internal.
• Building, developing and managing a successful team, optimize the teamwork by professional and technical knowledge and skills.
• Establish the strategic direction and continuous improvement and improve customer satisfaction.

Working Conditions Working conditions typical of a climate controlled and professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, etc.
