UCT is looking for a talented Manager, Facilities to join us in Israel!

The Manager, Facilities is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of facility infrastructure and building systems that support business operations. This role leads preventive and predictive maintenance programs, manages contractors and technical service providers, and ensures compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements. By overseeing critical systems including compressed air, cooling, HVAC, and fire protection, the manager minimizes downtime, optimizes asset performance, and supports operational continuity. The role also drives maintenance planning, project execution, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance facility performance, safety, and cost effectiveness.

Required Skills:

• Ability to cope with stressful situations, assertiveness and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Certified electrician license required
• Experience in managing contractors / direct employees - significant advantage
• Ability to lead tasks with interfaces while prioritizing tasks according to defined work methods.
• Working in a computerized environment, familiarity with LEAN methodology.
• Planning and control: projects & preventive/ predictive maintenance.

Defining a field of activity

• Responsibility for performing preventive maintenance/breakdown for the following infrastructure systems:
• Compressed air systems.
• Fire extinguishing and fire detection systems.
• Factory cooling systems + air conditioners in the company's offices.
• Compliance with regulatory and safety standards for systems with the support of the Safety Department.

Work interfaces

• Reports to the Maintenance Manager.
• External and internal service contractors.
• Infrastructure department team management.
• Working together with the safety and maintenance department.
