We are looking for a competent, experienced, and results-oriented Manager (Finance & Accounts) for our Polymer Industries business unit, with strong expertise in Finance, Banking Operations, Fund Management, and Financial Planning .

Key Responsibilities

• Finance & Fund Management
• Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Manage daily fund requirements, working capital, liquidity, and cash flow.
• Ensure the availability of adequate funds for operational and business activities.
• Monitor fund utilization, financial exposure, and cost optimization.
• Prepare financial reports, management information reports, and cash flow statements.
• Banking & Treasury Operations
• Maintain effective relationships with commercial banks and financial institutions.
• Manage bank accounts, working capital facilities, loans, overdrafts, and other credit facilities.
• Handle LC, bank guarantees, loan documentation, and other banking activities as applicable.
• Monitor loan repayments, interest expenses, bank charges, and financing costs.
• Negotiate banking terms and facilitate financing arrangements in line with company requirements.
• Accounts & Financial Control
• Supervise general accounting, bank reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and proper maintenance of books of accounts.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and outstanding balances.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax, VAT, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure proper financial documentation.
• Budgeting & Business Support
• Prepare annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
• Analyze financial performance, operational costs, profitability, and budget variances.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Supply Chain, Sales, and Production departments regarding financial requirements.
• Team Leadership & Compliance
• Lead, supervise, and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
• Establish effective internal financial controls and risk management procedures.
• Ensure timely submission of financial statements and management reports.

Requirements

• Experience: 10-15 years
• Education: master of business administration in finance
• Skills: finance management, financial mgmt, corporate finance, managerial finance, financial management, project finance, financial acumen, financial-analysis, budgeting and financial management
